How to complete ‘The Disgrace of the Salazar Family’ side quest in Resident Evil 4 Remake
Ramon Salazar is a mean guy, and we don’t like him. We can easily change his portrait to look less bad.
The quest to find the Clock Tower can be found at the beginning of Chapter 12. However, you don’t need to go to the Clock Tower right away. You can wait until later to explore that part of the game.
When you are looking at the carriage, look at the wall behind you. There are two blue notes there. One of them says that seeing Ramon Salazar’s face all the time is making their skin crawl, and they want a specific portrait defaced.
To find the portrait of the Queen, we need to go through the Ballroom and Antechamber again.
To get to the portrait of Ramon, we need to go to the Throne Room. There, we’ll find a painting of him to the left. We can’t just attack it or cut it with our knife – we need to throw an egg at it! If you don’t have an egg, the Cubic Device Lockbox in the room will have a Golden Chicken Egg inside.
If you sit on the throne, the scene with Leon will play out. He will look handsome, and one of the chickens in the room will lay an egg for you.
Open your inventory and equip the egg. Then, throw it at Ramon’s portrait.
If your portrait is defaced, turn in your side quest to the Merchant to receive four Spinel.
