The movie “Illumination and Universal’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie” is about two plumbers from Brooklyn, Mario (Chris Pratt) and Luigi (Charlie Day), who are transported to the Mushroom Kingdom and must fight against Bowser (Jack Black). Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) is also in the movie.
The new movie is available in different formats, including 3D, IMAX, and other premium formats. 38% of the movie’s sales came from these formats. The Super Mario Bros. Movie is the highest-grossing animated movie for IMAX, making $21.6 million worldwide.
Super Mario Bros. Movie had a lot of success over the Easter weekend. It was third after Batman vs. Superman and Furious 7.
